Celebrating 2022

In just a few short weeks, it will be 2023. Can you believe it? It was a year filled with some great laughs, growth, hard work, and lot of happiness. When it came time to choose our favorite memories of 2022, there was a lot for us to choose from. Heading into the new year, we all wanted to take some time to reflect on the past year and share with you some of our favorite memories. Keep reading to see what some of our favorite moments were.

I was definitely very blessed in 2022. Now that I look back on it, it was truly a great year for me, my family and my business.

One of my favorite memories this year was when I celebrated my 10 year wedding anniversary with 30 friends & family in Cabo San Lucas. Lola Hair Studio turned six this year as well and we were the 3rd time winner ofThe Salon Today 200 award! I took some vacations to St. Martin, Finland, Azores & Sullivan’s Island. I went to many concerts including Aerosmith at Fenway Park and was able to spend my free time with friends, family & Lola family.

This new year let's celebrate our lives every day and make sure that every day counts. Make sure that you are making memories with your loved ones!

I have my first child: Bella Zhanara. Her name means A Beautiful Gift from God. She was born on September 25th 2022 at 12:45 am. I am very happy to welcome her to our family and she is the most precious thing in my life!

I celebrated her birth with a baby shower with my Lola girls. We went to Legal Food on Seaport and had a lot of fun! I was blessed with a lot of presents from them which we are enjoying so much now that the baby is here.

This year I celebrated my son winning states for hockey, he also won districts for baseball, my daughter won states for cheer, and my son won the Superbowl for football; I am so proud of them. I was able to go to some concerts this year, I went to the Weeknd with Jannelle and also went to Boston Calling (I love festivals!).

I rescued another dog, Kaia who will be two in January 2021 and she is a german shepherd. This is our fourth dog but first rescue dog; she has been such an amazing addition to our family! She has helped us grow even more as a family unit because we have learned so much.

I’m lucky that I get to work in a place that is filled with so many great people and clients. It’s a family here, and that is why we get so many people coming back over and over again. The thing that I appreciate most about Lola is that it is always growing and changing but still staying true to what makes us unique and special.

I celebrated my 40th birthday with my friends my boyfriend and my family. I also attended Redken Exchange in New York and it was a really cool experience, especially being able to have fun going back out to restaurants and start traveling again for work.

I had the opportunity to go on set with some of my favorite hair stylists, which was amazing! We got to see the process from start to finish and it was so cool. I also got to meet so many talented people that day.

This year, I celebrated my son turning double digits. I got an apartment all on my own for the first time this year, and I also celebrated that my younger sister is got married!

I'm so happy that I can finally take a break from being an adult and be with my loved ones. It has been such a long time since we've been able to spend time together.

My favorite part about 2022 was when I got to spend time with my family again after so long apart from them!

This year has been incredible! I adopted baby Zion, in April! We went to the courthouse and got everything legalized and then we all went out to Hibachi after since it’s his favorite. I am so happy and relieved now that everything is legalized and completed!

My business is doing great too! It has been so busy but I don’t mind because it means more money saved for my kids.

The highlight of this year is definitely traveling to Europe with my family, to celebrate my sister getting her Masters's Degree. She graduated in London and we celebrated by traveling to Italy; we visited Milan and Cinque Terre. These 5 little towns are one of the most beautiful places I have visited in my life.

I celebrated the launch of Lolatique. I was in charge of the project, and we just launched it in November, and it has been going great!

We have a very nice selection of products, and we're very excited about it; the perfect timing now that it is the holidays and everyone is more relaxed and looking for something new.

I'm also excited about the new products coming from brands like Kitsch and more. The shop is doing great, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what we will be able to do with it!

I've been working at Lola for almost a year now. I started in February and it's been amazing. It's such a great environment to work in. It's also been an amazing learning experience because I've gotten to learn all about hair styling from some of the best stylists in the business.

I also celebrated my last birthday in my twenties. I went on a vacation to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, and I went ziplining for the first time! This year, I really focused on getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things because there is so much more out there that we want to experience!

This year was absolutely incredible. I got engaged in July! My fiance and I went up north to the White Mountains in New Hampshire on a hike with our dog; and he proposed to me there. It was super sweet, especially because I got the pear-shaped ring I always wanted. I love Disney because it makes me feel like I am a kid again, and he got the ring from Disney from my favorite princess, Ariel.

Another highlight this year was when my first nephew was born just recently in October, his name is Quentin! It's been so much fun watching him grow up over the past few months.

I'm really excited for what's to come in 2023!

It has been a good year for me. I celebrated my one-year wedding anniversary. During our honeymoon last year, we went to Cabo, so this year we decided to go to Riviera Maya. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and spent time relaxing, floating in the water, eating great food, having some drinks, oh, and watching the monkeys.

I celebrated getting a new job here at Lola in August. It's been an amazing experience working here at Lola and learning about all the different products and techniques that are used to give people gorgeous hair styles!

I'm so excited to continue working here as a stylist because I love seeing the happiness that comes from making someone look their best!

This year, I celebrated a few things. The top highlight of my year was when my nephew, William, was born in February; he is the happiest and cutest baby.

I started working at Lola and have been loving it! Lola Hair Studio is one of the first places I saw this openness in action.

I was also able to go on a few trips this year with my family, which was a lot of fun. And just recently, we got a new Goldendoodle puppy named Romeo! He's adorable and fluffy and perfect, and I'm so glad we have him in our lives.

This year has been a whirlwind of growth, change, and travel. I celebrated the 1st anniversary of my dad's lung transplant in October. I was able to go back to Kentucky to see my dad and my family, and I also went to my high school reunion and homecoming.

I had a great time at both events. It was nice seeing all of my old friends and classmates again, and I'm glad that many of them reached out to me through social media since then.

This year has been a whirlwind of growth, change, and travel. I started working at Lola in March and have grown so much since, especially with the excellent education. I also traveled to Greece for my friend's wedding!

I celebrated growth this year. I was able to really put my education to use this year and really appreciate how my work has paid off. I’ve matured a lot and have been more assertive, and have learned a lot. I have become more confident with the education that I’ve learned with Kerri, and I am really excited moving forward. This year I know more about who I am and what I want to surround myself with. I also celebrated now offering makeup applications for the salon, and I am so excited about that.

I also celebrated starting working at Lola in September. I was nervous because I didn't know if I'd be able to do my job, but it turns out that I actually love it! My new boss is amazing and she's been a great mentor.

I've been here for two months now, so it feels like home already.

My boyfriend also got a new job, so we went out to dinner to celebrate that. I am so excited for what's more to come!

We are all so excited to see what's to come next year and are so grateful for all we have accomplished this year. What were some things you celebrated this year?
